Advent wreath wkAn Advent wreath is a ring with four candles used by some Christians and churches to mark the passage of the holy season of Advent.

The candles are lit successively on each of four weeks (on a Saturday night or Sunday) of Advent. Some Advent wreath have is the fifth candle on Christmas Day to signify Christ's birth. Advent wreaths are symbolic:
